Wise Sisters allows sisters to serve and to fellowship with each other based on their personal interests or need. Far too many sisters in the church, as well as women in the community, stand alone as heads of their households, are young and single and at risk of negative behaviors, or are divorced/widowed and neglected. Their needs require time, attention and finances the church leadership is hard pressed to provide. Due to the hectic pace at which most of uslive, due to the economic times we are experiencing, due to the increasing cultural differences between us--most of the time no one is available to walk through it with us when we are having a "wilderness" experience. God wants us to experience life together. Wise Sisters provides effective fellowship opportunities and addresses the issues of our lives through four significant programs.
Sister Circles and Gatherings
Sister Circles can be formed around dialoguing and encouragement, specific projects, economic development or forming a business relationship. Participating women are formed into "circles," small groups of 7-9 sisters, meeting (gathering) together at convenient times during the month to support, dialogue with each other, and share resources. Each group is lead by a trained LifeStyle Coach, and in most cases is monitored by their church's leadership.
Sister Circles provide effective fellowship. A circle is a trustworthy, non-judgmental and supportive environment in which dialoguing (conversations, non-intrusive conversations)safely leads to self-discovery and a better acquaintance with the Lord. Christian LifeStyle Coaching
Mature Christian sisters are trained as lifestyle coaches who rely solely on bible-based principles when extending ecouragement. These Wise Sisters are assigned the responsibility of facilitating a Circle or providing individualized coaching. Training certificates and coaching credentials are awarded upon completion of the training course. The 16-hours of training is provided online, through audio-seminars and as two full-day workshops(with in-person trainer).
LifeStyle Coaching is a ministry, an act of service. A lifestyle coach is a very special intercessor...lifestyle coaches are adult women who have defeated those challenging issues in life that daily confront women living in today's urban environment. They come from many different walks of life, yet they all share the same core values...values based on their dedication to the Lord Jesus Christ. To be a part of this ministry is to be engaged in the powerful experience of sisterhood, and in doing so to achieve a much deeper relationship with God.
Wise Sister LifeStyle Coaches who complete basic training receive certification that is recognized by the International Association of Coaches. Basic training is offered through three formats: classroom setting, on-line video chat and telephone audio-conference. Basic training consists of two eight(8) hour sessions covering the following:
(Day One) "What Does Christian Love Look Like?" A personal development session that assists with accepting the responsibility of lifestyle coaching, understanding the goals and limitations of coaching, and training in the process of coaching.
(Day Two) "Geez, These Problems Are Serious?" Coach trainees receive working acquaintance with common problems and human development issues; and learn what the coach should know/say, helpful exercies to make dialoguing productive and comortable, and group facilitation techniques.

Wise Sisters Earth Songs Ministry
Sister-friends endowed with God's special gifts, and/or expressing a willingness to be trained, are guided into a lay-ministry developed to generate revenue as it heals wounded hearts. Wherever there are sister-friends, there are conversations of incredible adventure, compassion and love..."sister-strength." The Wise Old Woman calls these conversations "Earth Songs." These conversations are recorded, transcribed and used to produce messages of encouragement that can be either shared with a needy sister or sold to the general community to raise revenue. This revenue can be used for their Circle or supplemental income for their own needs or to assist with money needed for church or community projects. These activities are also supervised by the hosting leadership. That leadership can come from a church or from an independent group of women who have been organized into a circle or a chapter.
Sisters of all ages can be trained to use "sister-strength" to develop greeting cards, ladies bible class study materials, newsletters for community interest and reading material for women. Use the Earth Songs Ministry to generate a second or supplemental income or to provide a much needed volunteer service. Sister Peer Lending
Each circle sets aside funds, monthly or as they become available, to provide for those times when a sister-friend has a need that only money can resolve. The funds are maintained in an interest-bearing (regional) bank-account, and are loaded out only upon agreement of the entire circle. Circles desiring to build larger amounts of equity into their peer account are advised by expert financial advisors as to how to make the best dividend producing investments.
